Season instructions

Weekly format

Each week you'll pick against the spread on all 12 games — a mix of college and NFL, or college-only in early weeks before the NFL season starts.

Once the NFL season is under way, the non-college games are:

• The Dallas Cowboys game of the week
• The Monday Night Football (MNF) game

If the Cowboys happen to be playing in the Monday Night Football game, an additional NFL game of interest will be chosen instead.

The final week of the league will be College Football’s Week 15 (Conference Championship Week).

Picking against the spread

We are using point spreads to make the games more competitive. A point spread is essentially a handicap applied to the favorite.

Mandatory Triple Play

Each week you must select ONE of your picks to be your “Triple Play.” This is mandatory and counts as 3 wins if correct, but 3 losses if incorrect. Be strategic in choosing the game you feel most confident about.

Weekly scoring

• Correct pick+1
• Incorrect pick−1
• Push (tie with spread)0
• Triple Play correct+3
• Triple Play incorrect−3

Weekly points will be totaled and tracked for the overall season leaderboard.

Weekly schedule

• Picks forms will be sent out every Tuesday by 6:00 PM.
• All picks must be submitted no later than Thursday at 7:00 PM.
• On Friday, the Commissioner will email out everyone’s picks in a spreadsheet for transparency.

Spreads will be taken from ESPN and locked in on Tuesday each week.
